<h3><strong>Position Summary</strong></h3>
This position supports the <strong>Child and Youth Program (CYP) Joint Operations Community Based Fee Assistance Program</strong> by providing administrative and technical services. The ideal candidate will help families with registration, enrollment, and subsidy determinations while ensuring compliance with program policies.
<h3><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<h4><strong>Family and Fee Assistance Support</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Review child registration and enrollment documents to confirm accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Verify eligibility, employment, and income documents to calculate military child care fees.</li>
<li>Collect enrollment information to determine subsidy benefits for children in community care.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Provider Verification</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Confirm licensing and accreditation information for community providers using official state or accrediting body resources.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Claim and Data Processing</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Process monthly claim forms, ensuring benefits align with authorized amounts.</li>
<li>Reconcile overpayments, returned checks, or payment discrepancies.</li>
<li>Maintain organized and accurate reports, records, and databases for fee assistance.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Communication and Collaboration</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Support families via phone, email, and online messaging to address financial obligations, waiting lists, and program policies.</li>
<li>Assist providers with enrollment, subsidy awards, payments, and certification processes.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>General Responsibilities</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Research records to resolve discrepancies, notifying supervisors of unresolved issues.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety, policy, and documentation standards.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<h4><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li><strong>Education/Experience:</strong>
<ul>
<li>1+ years of child care fee assistance work experience, OR</li>
<li>Associate?s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, OR</li>
<li>Equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>military child care programs</strong>, such as Child Development Centers and School-Age Care.</li>
<li>Knowledge of <strong>fee assistance programs</strong> and related policies.</li>
<li>Experience with program databases, such as <strong>MilitaryChildCare.com (MCC)</strong> or <strong>Child and Youth Management System (CYMS)</strong>.</li>
<li>Proficiency in general office automation software and basic accounting procedures.</li>
<li>Strong research and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Conditions of Employment</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Must successfully pass <strong>E-Verify employment verification</strong>.</li>
<li>Participation in <strong>Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer</strong> within 30 days of hire is mandatory.</li>
<li>Subject to background checks as per DoD Instruction 1402.05.</li>
