? The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC. is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Legal Analysis Case Assistant VA to join our growing legal team.
? This position will report directly to the Immigration Department Supervisor.
? The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of immigration-related laws and be capable of making reasoned decisions while performing a variety of filing activities.
? We are looking for someone with a client-service attitude and exceptional case management skills.
? You should also possess knowledge of procedural requirements for various non-immigrant and immigrant visas, particularly in the U-Certs area.
? This legal assistant will participate in all aspects of our immigration practice, including assisting in the management of client relationships, case review, document preparation, and filing of non-immigrant petitions.
Requirements: ? At least 1-2 years of experience in immigration law, specifically with non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings, such as U-Certs and other USCIS petitions. ? Bilingual (English/Spanish) with high proficiency in both written and spoken communication. ? Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in another legal capacity. ? Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian visas, EOIR procedures, detained cases, citizenship applications, and other USCIS applications is a plus. ? Experience with case management software and other legal tools to manage client files efficiently. ? Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
