FUND ACCOUNTING EXPERT || FULL TIME JOB || REMOTE ? *Responsibilities:** ? Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds, including private equity, hedge funds, and real estate funds. ? Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and other regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards. ? Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. ? Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. ? Analyze fund performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management. ? Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control. ? Assist in the valuation of fund assets and the calculation of net asset value (NAV). ? Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in alternative investment fund accounting. ? *Qualifications:** ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation preferred. ? Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund accounting, with a focus on alternative investments. ? Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards. ? Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools. ?
