Product Review Engineers (Liaison Engineering) (Associate and Experienced Levels) Company: The Boeing Company Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Product Review Engineers (Liaison Engineering) to support the Aerospace Operations team. This position is located at Shepard Field Air National Guard Base in Martinsburg, WV. The selected candidate will provide on-site Field Engineering and Technical Support to the United States Air Force at Shepard Field Air National Guard Base in Martinsburg, WV as an integral part of a multi-discipline team in conjunction with the C-17 Globemaster III Sustainment Partnership (GSP) contract. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing dispositions for the modification and repair of nonconforming situations. The team is responsible for working with both internal Boeing teams, suppliers and customers all over the world. Position Responsibilities: Assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Apply engineering principles and experience to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer. Develop and document interim and permanent engineering dispositions to ensure aircraft airworthiness and overall USAF C-17 OSS&E. Use innovative approaches and unique applications to solve complex nonconforming conditions. Identify documents, analyze reported problems and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommend and manage resolutions. Provide design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews. Participate in on-site disabled aircraft repair/recovery teams, safety or accident investigation boards, and aircraft maintenance recovery teams. Design interim and permanent aircraft structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis. Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment. Develop and implement technical training curriculum for internal and external customers. Develop and implement product/process improvements. Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic environments. May be asked to support additional military related programs. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Shepard Field Air National Guard Base in Martinsburg,WV. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 1+ years? experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings. 1+ years? experience aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support. Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years? related work experience or an equivalent combination of education. Excellent cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication. Modification Engineering experience. Relevant technological knowledge. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to lead others, work independently, and in a team environment.
