Perl Developer (Apple Pay eCommerce Experience) - Contract (Fully Remote)

Prior experience with web-based software as well as cloud-based architecture is a plus. Candidates with strong coding principles will get top consideration. This position requires the capability to work on multiple projects independently with a positive attitude.

This will be an fully remote contract opportunity.

Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or significant related industry experience ? 7+ years of application development experience in Perl ? Hands-on technical experience with Apple Pay ? Demonstrate solutions by developing code, documentation, and test plans ? Experience with a variety of web frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc.) ? A strong command of SQL and database technologies ? Excellent understanding of software design, architecture, and programming principles ? Be a persistent, creative problem solver ? Self-starter with strong self-management and decision-making skills ? A solid sense of ownership and teamwork ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:
? eCommerce development experience implementing large scale web services
? Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
? Experience working with various programming languages
? Exposure to Elastic Search or similar platforms is a plus
? Prior experience working in an agile/lean environment
