YouTube Video Editor Needed for Long-Term Collaboration (Vlogs/Explainer + Shorts) [Hindi Speaker] - Contract to Hire
I'm looking for a skilled video editor to help me with YouTube video editing and creating Shorts. This is intended to be a long-term collaboration, but to start, I will be hiring for just one video to assess compatibility in terms of quality, communication, and turnaround time. The editor applying MUST understand and speak Hindi/Urdu. If things go well, this will become an ongoing opportunity with consistent weekly work and potential for growth, as there are others in my network also looking to hire video editors. The videos are typically vlog-style or talking-head format and range from 8 to 15 minutes. I need clean, engaging edits with good pacing, simple captions, smooth transitions, basic animations, and light background music where appropriate. From each video, I’ll also need 1–2 YouTube Shorts created — punchy, high-retention edits optimized for mobile. You should have a good sense of YouTube pacing and visual storytelling, be able to work independently, and be open to feedback.
