This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Indiana (USA) Senior SOX IT Compliance Auditor (JDE/Oracle/IFS) Remote (EST hours, some flexibility required for global communication) Contract (3-6 mos) Pay Range: $60.00 - $80.00per hr Job Description: Our client, a global organization backed by a private equity firm, is establishing its SOX compliance program in preparation for a PwC audit in 2026. We're seeking a Senior SOX IT Compliance Auditor with deep ERP audit experience — particularly JD Edwards (JDE), Oracle, and IFS — to lead readiness efforts, assess IT General Controls (ITGCs), and strengthen documentation and control design for a new enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead SOX IT audits and readiness activities across JDE (primary), Oracle, and IFS systems. • Evaluate database configurations, role definitions, segregation of duties (SoD), and change management controls. • Ensure proper configuration and control design within the JDE GRC module. • Review documentation (test cases, change records, control narratives) for SOX alignment. • Identify control gaps and prescribe mitigating controls to achieve compliance. • Collaborate with internal IT and offshore teams to document, test, and improve controls. • Advise leadership on audit readiness and compliance strategy as the company transitions to a unified ERP system. Required Skills: • 5+ years of experience in Big 4 or equivalent audit environments. • Strong background auditing ERP systems (especially JDE, plus Oracle and IFS). • Solid understanding of SOX ITGCs, access management, change control, and operations. • Experience supporting new or newly carved-out companies through SOX readiness. • Skilled in audit documentation, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement. Bonus/Soft Skills: • Confident, professional demeanor — able to operate with the rigor of a Big 4 auditor while guiding compliance planning. • Preferred certifications: CISA, CPA, CISSP.
