As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and handling infrastructure in AWS, leveraging your expertise in Terraform, Jenkins, and other key technologies to drive automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage infrastructure in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Develop reusable Terraform code for provisioning infrastructure, promoting infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices. Collaborate with application teams to integrate infrastructure code into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enabling automated deployments and streamlining the development process. Manage repositories, including pull requests, conflict resolution, and code merging in GitHub/BitBucket, maintaining version control and ensuring code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and source control, leveraging your expertise to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Handle code efficiently, addressing merge conflicts and collaborating with peers to drive continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS infrastructure. Proficiency in AWS, Terraform, Jenkins/Git Lab, GitHub/BitBucket, and Groovy, with a strong understanding of IaC principles. Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Jenkins, shell/bash scripting, and YAML, leveraging AWS Public Cloud IAAS services. Good understanding of AWS Cloud Architecture and other infra services in AWS, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure. Hands-on experience with source code management tools such as GitHub/GitLab or Bitbucket, with a strong understanding of version control best practices. Preferred Qualifications To stand out in this role, you will ideally have: Knowledge of Groovy (DSL) as the CI/CD environment stack is based on the Groovy framework, enabling you to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines effectively. Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $117,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
