Part Time Online High School IB/AP English Language and Literature Teacher
Job Description: Instructors will provide online teaching on a weekly basis to students (mostly Chinese students in China) in various subjects. Main Responsibilities 1. Teach 1 to 1 or in small groups online high school students 2. Subjects include: IB and/or AP English Language 3. Prepare each lesson and deliver each lesson with quality, effectiveness and efficiency 4. Develop lesson plans, syllabus, and homework assignments, 5. Grade students’ homework, provide written feedback on homework, 6. Closely monitor student’s performance and give timely feedback to student and student advisor 7. Use relevant technology to support lessons and communications among team 8. Learn from other teachers and take trainings to improve lesson quality 9. Enable students to score well in IB English Language exam Requirements: 1. Passionate about helping international students learn 2. Open minded, well-organized, results-oriented 3. Flexible work hours to accommodate students’ availability (12-13 hour time difference between US EST and China). Availability to work mornings and/or weekends 4.
