National Key Account Sales Director– food / beverage / CPG – club channel – full remote An international food manufacturer is seeking a qualified Key Account Sales Director who has sales experience with presenting food/ beverage product to Costco, Sam’s, BJ’s headquarters, National and regional offices. Office Location: near Costa Mesa, California – fully remote Industry: Food / beverage Salary: $160,000 - $180,000/yr (plus about one month worth of bonus) Title: National Key Account Business Hour: – flex time if work 8 hours/day Full remote position Great benefits: Medical/ Dental / Vision (100% for employee 75% for family), Vacation, National Holiday, 401K, Life Insurance Summary: As National Key Account Sales on the sales team, you will lead development of planning at the account level, focusing on total volume, profit and share growth for our portfolio. Manage the plan to meet volume, profit and share goals. Implement brand strategies with customer by working with decision makers and partners, using consumer insights and category management programs to guide customer decisions. · Develop annual customer plan and gain agreement on opportunities for growth. · Develop trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer. · Monitor the customer's overall business plan, managing trade budgets, deduction balances, spending and volume to achieve sales goals. · Conduct post event analysis to evaluate promotional volume, consumption, profit and spending results to maximize future promotional opportunities. · Implement brand strategies through category business reviews with the customer. · Establish regular connections with buyers to discuss consumer trends, business drivers, and incremental opportunities. · Use category management practices to link consumer and shopper trends to sell-in new items and grow distribution. · Analyze sales, ROI results, and report back on market conditions, promotion execution, customer issues, and competitive intelligence to sales management. · The duties include traveling all around the United States through the assigned territory to call on retail establishments of Club Chain. (About once a month for 3-5 days) · Makes initial contacts with key personnel of targeted customers and builds a strong business rapport. · Attends trade shows and marketing events to promote the sale. · Work closely with marketing department, logistic department and Sales department to develop to increase company sales volume. · Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements · Bachelor degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field is a must · 10+ years of experience in related field in Food, Snack, Beverage, or CPG industry. · Must have experience negotiating with club channel (Costco, Sam’s, BJ’s) at National headquarter level · Must be able to travel nationally including East Coast (once a month for 3-5 days) · Must have experience negotiating with buyers or brokers of mass Grocery Store chains. · Must demonstrate sales planning, forecasting, and sales execution experience · Proficient in EXCEL spreadsheet and PowerPoint presentation software. · Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. · Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
