Here are just a few of the responsibilities: Statewide travel to facilities to serve as the MDS Coordinator Educate staff to ensure all care is accounted for Training with facility Licensed Nursing Home Administrator & Director of Nursing on MDS processes Participate in facility clinical meetings What it takes to become a Travel MDS Coordinator with Care Initiatives:Valid RN license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.Current, valid CPR Certification.Must possess more than a year of proven MDS experience, since PDPM.Familiarity with MDS 3.0/RAI Manual.
