As a representative of our client, Dyson, you will showcase their innovative line of hair styling tools, providing expert advice and creating engaging interactions with customers. Job Overview: ActionLink, a premier retail merchandising and sales solutions company, is looking for an outgoing individual to join our Dyson Promoter Team. As a Dyson Stylist Expert, you will demonstrate the powerful features of Dyson's Supersonic hair dryer, Airwrap multi-styler, Corrale cordless straightener, and Airstrait wet to dry straightener, while maintaining quality visual merchandising standards and providing feedback through digital surveys. About You: Ideally, you have experience in haircare or cosmetics, can handle hair confidently, and perform fundamental curling and straightening techniques. You are a creative and charismatic individual who can create in-store theater, helping customers discover new looks and showcasing the unique features of Dyson's hair styling tools. Schedule & Location: 16 hours per week, 2:00pm - 9:00pm, Saturday and Sunday Temporary promotional position running through December 31, 2023 Dyson Demo Store - Tysons Corner in McLean, VA What We Offer: $25.00 hourly pay Hands-on opportunity to represent the latest styling technologies in an upscale environment Paid training program to hone your product knowledge and prepare you for program success Potential for additional opportunities after position end date (as locally available and per program qualifications) W2 employment with biweekly pay schedule Responsibilities: Participate in web-based training courses and videos to learn proprietary product information Build strong rapport with Dyson Demo store staff to establish productive store relationships Engage customers throughout the sales process, from initial greeting to closing the sale Perform professional-level styling demos to give customers hands-on trials that convey product benefits Complete same-day online survey reports to document visits and provide feedback Maintain business communication with District Manager via occasional phone calls, emails, and requested web meetings Requirements: Valid cosmetology license Experience in hair styling and/or working in a salon environment Background in retail, customer service, and/or sales preferred Access to reliable vehicle transportation to travel to assigned locations Must adhere to dress code/professional appearance standards and demeanor Access to a smart device to complete reporting and communicate with district manager Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time ActionLink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
