Description

The ideal candidate will ensure consistent corporate financial strategy through various avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and a fixed asset program. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and necessary authorities.
Key Responsibilities
? Support the CFO in managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.
? Support the CFO in the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and trial balance.
? Assist the CFO in setting financial strategies and protocols by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems that meet Waggoner?s needs.
? Provide day-to-day Deltek Vision support and have the ability to create custom reports in Vision.
? Maintain GL support schedules and verify all routine JEs.
? Coordinate monthly closing meetings and provide all required schedules and support.
? Provide monthly reporting on the bookings, backlog, revenue, profit, etc.
? Oversee and support fixed asset programs and procedures.Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
? Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting;
Master in Accounting (preferred).
? 5+ years of accounting experience in the public/private accounting field.
? CPA license (preferred).
? Strong communication both written and verbal.
? Deltek ERP experience (preferred).
