A leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Network Engineer to manage and maintain its IT Network Infrastructure. This is a contract, part-time hours role and requires someone looking for a flexible, remote opportunity.
As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and security of corporate network systems. You'll be responsible for maintaining in-office and cloud-based network infrastructures, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance?all while working in a fully distributed, asynchronous tech organization.
Contract Duration: 9 Months
Required Skills & Experience
?3-5 years of experience in configuring, installing, and maintaining corporate network infrastructure.
?Proficiency in Fortinet and Cisco Meraki network systems.
?Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and other network protocols.
?Experience managing ISP accounts, contracts, and network service providers.
?Ability to create and update network diagrams for new and existing infrastructure.
?Familiarity with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure AD, Office 365 integration) is a plus.

Daily Responsibilities: ? Maintain and troubleshoot corporate network hardware and software, including firewalls, routers, and switches. ? Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities. ? Ensure hardware/software compliance with security standards. ? Manage ISP relationships and ensure adherence to contracted SLAs. ? Support Wi-Fi configurations and security enhancements. ? Maintain an inventory of network components and ensure proper lifecycle management. ? Document network infrastructure, operational procedures, and troubleshooting workflows. ? Provide monthly network performance reports to IT leadership. ? Assist with disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP).
