Responsibilities: ? Provide high-quality transcription services from audio and video files, ensuring each document is error-free and accurately reflects the source content. ? Convert various forms of audio communications, including interviews, meetings, webinars, and podcasts, into well-structured, formatted written documents. ? Edit and proofread all transcripts to ensure high standards of quality, grammar, and accuracy before submission. ? Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to understand specific formatting requirements and project deadlines. ? Utilize specialized transcription software and secure cloud platforms to manage and deliver projects on time. ? Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client data and sensitive information, adhering to established security protocols. ? Identify opportunities for process improvements in the transcription workflow and propose innovative solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
? Proven experience in transcription or typist roles, with a demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy and speed in a remote setting.
? Excellent typing skills, with a minimum speed of 65 words per minute and a keen eye for detail.
? Proficiency in using transcription software and familiarity with digital file management systems.
? Strong command of the English language, with outstanding written communication and editing skills.
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
? Familiarity with various audio file formats and a strong ability to interpret different accents and dialects is a plus.
? Excellent time management skills, with a proactive approach to meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
