The role of the Senior Technical Product Engineer is to support and enable business change as we evolve and trasnform our products.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
? Work with business Product Owner and SMEs to prioritize feature development, based on the business value. Facilitate work sessions as needed and document new features, requirements, and strategies.
? Maintain internal consumer and business team relationships.
? Owns and delivers the development activities in the scrum team.
? Deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows.
? Lead story grooming sessions or requirements clarifications sessions.
? Ability to write necessary stories to deliver functionality, such as user interaction stories, or system integration stories or API level stories.
? Drive excellence by leading a squad along with the Scrum Master comprised of SDES, SDETS and SRE to provide proactive contributions towards continuous improvement of supported products.
? Successfully handle multiple initiatives and balance constantly evolving priorities.
? Works with application support and development team to fix software bugs and escalated issues

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
? Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field
? 5+ years of hands on professional experience
? Experience working in an Agile environment
? Keen ability to be proactive and think creatively without direction to solve issues. Can anticipate the next questionscenario -Drill down beyond the problem surface to understand root cause, business impact, and next steps.
? Demonstrated experience developing requirements and knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system.
? Strong written, oral communication, social skills, planning and organizational skills, strong and facilitation skills.
? Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with management, internal consumers and business teams as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills
? Coaches and mentors team members on business processes and in testing.
? Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles
? Candidate must have the ability to deliver quality work on time and translate planning into action by following applicable established procedures or methodologies

? Excellent Judgement: As technology providers we are constantly having to balance the risk to the operation with the need for agility; this requires excellent judgement from everyone in the design, engineering and change management processes.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
? Experience working in an airline technology environment is preferred.
? Solid Understanding of Agile/SDLC development methodologies
? Airline business experience, as well as business process analysis and/or extensive experience working with agile teams, is desirable
