OVERVIEW:

Merrick & Company is seeking a Contract Recruiter for two (2) ? three (3) months. This person will provide excellent professional support to our Talent Acquisition Team to assist in driving the organization's purpose, vision, and values. This position can be located at any of our Merrick office?s.

We have a dynamic, fun, multi-discipline team who supports Engineering and Architectural offices in multiple states across the US with one office in Ontario, Canada.

The typical pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

This position is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and screening candidates to fill a variety of positions throughout the U.S. This person will post positions, create, and update social media feeds, and research/source potential candidates in a variety of recruiting platforms.

Working under the direction of the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, the contract Recruiter will conduct support functions for the Talent Acquisition Team which includes but is not limited to:
? Communicating (in person, on the phone, and in writing) with employees, management, vendors, and candidates in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
? Creating, editing, and posting new positions both internally and externally.
? Reviewing resumes and internet profiles in a timely and detailed manner.
? Working closely with entire Recruiting team to help manage current workload.
? Will be responsible for a progressive number of open job requisitions once training is complete.
? Researching and posting positions to local and regional associations, universities, and other posting locations.
? Will source potential candidates in LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and other recruiting platforms.

Skills/Abilities
? Understanding of the recruiting/selection process.
? Ability to work on a team and follow established processes with the flexibility to morph as the processes evolve.
? Ability to balance and complete several projects simultaneously in a demanding environment.
? Ability to function easily within the ?grey? and be agile in moving from one situation to the next.
? Experience managing a high volume of online applications and updating candidate database.
? Ability to maintain confidential information, make sound decisions independently, and deal with ambiguity.
? Able to work well independently with little supervision and be able to meet critical deadlines.
? Possesses strong organizational skills, able to adapt to a dynamic environment, and able to take direction from management and team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? Minimum five (5) years of Recruiting experience. ? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. ? Beginning to intermediate knowledge of applicant tracking software (ATS), preferably iCIMS. ? High attention to detail required. ? Experience in a corporate environment. ? Proficient experience with LinkedIn and Indeed, along with Social Media campaigns is required. ? Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. ? Due to the integrity required (perceived and actual) in any HR position, family members of Merrick employees will not be eligible for this position.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? Previous experience working in a fast-paced Recruiting position with an emphasis on customer service and filling positions in a timely manner. ? Experience recruiting for firms that are governed by OFCCP compliance. ? Experience in the engineering /architecture industry. ? Experience working with multiple branch offices. ? Degree Requirement: Bachelor?s degree.
