Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Virtual Core Subjects Educator to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Virtual Core Subjects Educator, you'll play a vital role in delivering virtual academic instruction to assigned students, promoting creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment, and nurturing student relationships. Key Responsibilities Deliver virtual academic instruction to assigned students, leading them through successful course completion. Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment, creating engaging lesson plans that align with the class curriculum. Develop strategies to engage and nurture student learning and relationships, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Keep track of student grades and performance, providing regular feedback and support to students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in virtual education and instructional design. Collaborate with colleagues and school administrators to ensure seamless integration with school and district partners. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A valid New York State public professional teaching certification in any CORE NYS subject (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or World Languages for Middle School and/or High School). A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual learning environments. A laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access. Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for educators with: Prior online teaching experience. A strong background in curriculum design and instructional technology. Experience working with diverse student populations and developing culturally responsive teaching practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and school administrators.
