We drive critical enhancements to the specialist work processes and specialist tooling through artificial intelligence and automation. Some of the products we have developed include AI-enhanced features such as case outline, data help using Generative AI, and guided workflows that can be written by business users. **The Impact You Will Make** As a Staff Software Engineer, you will work with a team of talented and diverse engineers to build solutions that improve Airbnb specialist efficiency. You will play a significant role in shaping the technical vision and delivering an answer that is adaptable, efficient, and scales with the needs of the business. Every individual brings their unique range of skills, experiences, figured leadership, and technical expertise to tackle these technical challenges for blithequark. **A Typical Day** * Work cross-functionally with item, design, and other engineering partners to execute on item and business processes to build novel items and features * Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, testing, iteration, analysis, and deployment. You'll review code and design docs, providing feedback on item specs and mocks * Lead engineers – both within and outside your local team – in working out these technical solutions * Coach other engineers in developing their technical and collaboration skills * Sustain a culture of technical quality from design, through code review, to production tasks **Your Expertise** * 9+ years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment * Strong skills with backend frameworks in large-scale service-oriented architectures * Experience with frontend or full-stack development * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with teams across the engineering, product, and design organizations * Passionate about efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality * Love for collaborating through code reviews and design conversations, and are committed to improving your colleagues' efficiency * Lone wolf's or potentially Expert's/PhD degree, ideally in CS, or equivalent experience **Your Location** This position is US-Remote Qualified.
