Our behaviors are designed to inspire collaboration, creativity, and a sense of purpose, ensuring that every interaction with our customers is a positive and memorable experience. **Job Summary** As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to help them navigate their healthcare journey. You will engage, consult, and educate customers based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of our plans, tools, and resources. Your role will involve: * Answering customer inquiries and resolving issues by phone * Triaging resulting rework to appropriate staff * Documenting and tracking contacts with customers, providers, and plan sponsors * Guiding customers through their plan benefits, Aetna policy, and procedures * Creating an emotional connection with customers by understanding and engaging with them to champion their best health * Anticipating customer needs and providing related information to answer unasked questions * Using customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve customer issues * Explaining customer rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract **Required Qualifications** * Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:30am - 8:30pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday - Friday * Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate * Experience in a production environment * High School Diploma or Equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment * Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations * Certification in customer service or a related field **Compensation and Benefits** * The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 * In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts its heart into caring for its colleagues and communities * A full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits * Eligibility to enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees * Short-term and long-term disability benefits * Well-being programs, education assistance, free development courses, and a CVS store discount * Paid Time Off (PTO) or vacation pay, as well as paid holidays throughout the calendar year **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
