As a Customer Assistance Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless travel experience for our passengers. About the Role The Customer Assistance Representative is a critical part of our customer service team, interacting with customers in a courteous, efficient, friendly, and professional manner. As a remote representative, you'll work from the comfort of your own home, providing top-notch support to our customers across the United States. Key Responsibilities Greeting customers and providing assistance with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing Troubleshooting kiosk technology issues and communicating with IT for additional support Verifying travel documents, carry-on baggage, and checked baggage to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations Assisting customers with checked baggage processing, queuing lines, and providing gate information and directions Referring customers to customer service agents when necessary and performing clearance and verification of documents at kiosks Assisting with the physical movement of non-ambulatory customers and unaccompanied minors Performing paging activities and other related duties as deemed operationally necessary Adhering to government regulations, company policies, and performance standards Providing quality customer service in a professional manner, using multiple internal resources and systems Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma or GED or international equivalent To be at least 18 years of age To read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations A valid driver's license as required by local authorities To complete a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting To fulfill FAA criminal background checks and secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable To be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Working knowledge of Sabre or any other Passenger Service System Previous face-to-face customer service experience Experience working in a fast-paced environment What You'll Get At blithequark, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Travel Perks: Explore the world with discounted rates on flights, hotels, and car rentals Health Benefits: Access to medical, dental, prescription, and vision benefits from day one Wellness Programs: Tools, resources, and support to help you achieve your wellness goals 401(k) Program: Employer contributions available after one year of service Additional Benefits: Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more Our Culture At blithequark, we're committed to creating an inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes equality. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25-$37 per hour, depending on experience.
