We're now seeking an experienced Customer Service Professional to join our Merchant Services team as a leader and help drive our mission forward. About the Role As a Trader Administrations Group captain at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Merchant Services team. You'll report to our Dealer Administrations Manager and serve as a specialist-level individual contributor, while helping to drive best practices in case and line management, issue resolution, metrics monitoring, and leadership through coaching and daily functional support. Initially, this role will be a work-from-home opportunity, but as our offices resume normal operations, we anticipate a hybrid model with some time spent in-office. Key Responsibilities Provide mentorship and coaching to colleagues to improve their overall performance on key metrics, driving a culture of excellence within the team. Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a commitment to taking action to promote a positive work environment and foster a sense of community. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, seeking opportunities for growth and improvement, and applying that knowledge to drive business results. Make a positive impact on client experience by inspiring the team to deliver exceptional customer support and making it easy for Shippers to work with us. Identify areas for improvement and implement projects to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation within the team. Respond to and resolve escalations and complaints from clients and workers, providing timely and effective solutions that meet their needs. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 2+ years of experience in a customer service or related field, preferably in an office environment. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. A customer-driven mindset, with the ability to work effectively with individuals with varying levels of technical expertise. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis and drive business decisions with data. The ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer service and support. A background in logistics, food delivery, or a related industry. Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience mentoring and developing team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
