About the position At NorthBay Health, the Epic Revenue Cycle Systems analyst is responsible for the analysis, configuration, maintenance, and support of Epic applications related to revenue cycle operations, including registration, scheduling, billing, and claims. This role works closely with clinicians, IT services, and operational leaders to gather requirements, analyze needs, design solutions, and support ongoing enhancements within the Epic electronic health record system. The analyst participates in project work, system upgrades, issue resolution, and workflow optimization efforts, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency across the revenue cycle. The analyst is a champion for change and standardization, promoting new features and functionality as they become available with a goal of reducing unnecessary manual efforts, optimizing revenue capture and supporting a friction-less experience for operations, clinicians, medical staff, and patients. Responsibilities • Analyze, configure, maintain, and support Epic applications related to revenue cycle operations. • Work closely with clinicians, IT services, and operational leaders to gather requirements and analyze needs. • Design solutions and support ongoing enhancements within the Epic electronic health record system. • Participate in project work, system upgrades, issue resolution, and workflow optimization efforts. • Ensure data integrity and operational efficiency across the revenue cycle. • Promote new features and functionality to reduce unnecessary manual efforts and optimize revenue capture. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent (8 years) in experience in healthcare IT field. • Current Epic certification in at least one revenue cycle application (e.g., Resolute Hospital/Professional Billing, Cadence, Prelude) is required. • Professional certifications from organizations such as HFMA (e.g., CRCR, CHFP) and AHIMA (e.g., RHIA, CCS) are preferred. • Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience with Epic or other EHR administration. • Knowledge of related systems, understanding of HL7, interoperability concepts and healthcare IT concepts.
