Distribution Account Manager – Germany Location: German The Distribution Account Manager (DAM) will build and promote the Fortinet’s position as the worldwide leader specifically through the VAD community in the territory. Must be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the region, and manage to the company growth targets. Accountable for managing assigned distributor partnerships within the guidelines of Fortinet’s channel programs, spearheading new business development and successfully developing the small business channel with assigned distributor. Will motivate, educate and train SMB partners in the Company’s products and technologies. Expand sales with by building business plans including MDF strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets with distributor. Responsibilities: Manage one key Fortinet distributor in Germany Assist distributor with day-to-day tasks in sales, administration & marketing. Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with this distributor. Provide ongoing sales and technical trainings to and with distributor. Execute marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds. Act as the go to channel person for the assigned distributor within region. Partner with Fortinet marketing and engineering teams to drive revenue growth within region. Provide geographic channel coverage for the region. Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets. Required Skills 5+ years distribution sales management in the IT sector. Experienced working with distribution with an already existing business network. Experience in building and executing business and marketing plans with partners. Experience in delivering sales trainings is a bonus. Experience in working in a fast pace environment with revenue responsibilities. Good presentation skills to executives & individual contributors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
