Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist
A company is looking for a Specialist in Climate Smart Agriculture and Disaster Risk Management in Agriculture. Key Responsibilities • Conduct assessments of institutional capacities and operational gaps related to climate-smart agriculture and disaster risk management • Provide technical advice for integrating sustainable agricultural practices into national and local policies and strategies • Develop and deliver training curricula and materials for Farmer Field Schools to promote sustainable agricultural practices Required Qualifications and Education • Advanced university degree in agriculture, climate change, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field; a bachelor's degree requires two additional years of relevant experience • At least five years of relevant experience in agronomy, climate change, crop production, and seed systems • Full proficiency in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian • Experience in project management and implementation in agriculture, particularly in the region • Knowledge of sustainable crop production and climate risk management tools Apply tot his job
