Auto Claims Adjuster Trainee

The Auto Claims Adjuster Trainee will be responsible for learning basic adjusting skills and delivering excellent customer service while handling automobile physical damage claims. Responsibilities Sets up first notice of losses (FNOL) using Safety’s proprietary software programs Interprets coverage and identifies potential coverage defenses Gathers and analyzes relevant information from insureds, claimants, witnesses and law enforcement to establish liability and scope of damages Becomes proficient in using various software and database programs Applies Massachusetts Standards of Fault to determine liability Identifies all subrogation opportunities Fosters and maintains a collaborative business relationship with our agency partners Delivers first class claims service to Safety’s valued customers Skills College degree required Superior organizational skills and attention to detail Customer service experience desired Excellent communications skills Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment Benefits 3 weeks accrued paid time off + paid holidays each year Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Annual 401(k) Employer Contribution (up to 8% of your base salary) 100% tuition reimbursement Free on-site fitness center Complimentary coffee and breakfast service Hybrid work schedules Working Advantage Discount Program Employee Assistance Program ...and much more!
