Data Entry Specialist The ideal candidate will be tasked with handling a large volume of data related to various aspects of our business operations. Your role will primarily focus on entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in our databases and systems. Duties and Responsibilities • Accurately enter and update data in respective databases in a timely manner. • Maintain detailed records of tasks, files, and progress. • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output. • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents. • Use data program techniques and procedures to streamline data collection and analysis. • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations. • Scan documents and print files, when needed. • Keep information confidential in accordance with data integrity and security policies. • Comply with data integrity and security policies. • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files. • Review data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolve any discrepancies. • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and data privacy laws. Requirements • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk. • Experience with MS Office and data programs. • Familiarity with administrative duties. • Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner. • Typing speed and accuracy. • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. • Attention to detail. • Confidentiality. • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills. • Great attention to detail. • Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and maintain discretion and trust regarding sensitive data.
